KISS founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons continue to expand their Rock & Brews chain.  Pitch.com says the rockers are taking their establishment to the heartland, and plan to open a restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas early next year.

It's one of three locations slated to open in the coming months, and will be the first Rock & Brews away from the Pacific coast.  Stanley and Simmons currently have two Rock & Brews operating in Southern California and one in Los Cabos, Mexico.

In addition to Overland Park, the pair will soon open a Rock & Brews in Paia, Hawaii and in Los Angeles International Airport.

At last month's opening of their Rock & Brews in Torrance, California, Stanley and Simmons said their goal is to have 100 more restaurants up and running in the next five years.

Rock & Brews features a rock atmosphere and decor, and menu items with such rock-inspired names as the Aqualung Ahi Sandwich, the Freebird Chicken Sandwich, the Strawberry Fields Salad, and the Satisfaction Sundae.
